Working Online

This LibGuide answers many frequently asked questions about how to have the best experience when accessing and working with online materials.

Wireless Networks in the Libraries

The Libraries of Piedmont College offer access to the Internet through wireless networks available in both locations, the Arrendale Library in Demorest and the Lane Library in Athens. Access to the wireless networks is available to all students, faculty and staff of the College.

Each library's network has its own name and encryption key or passphrase. The passphrase is needed to secure network traffic from intruders and to protect everyone's personal information.

The network names and passphrases for each library are available on this page. You should be prepared to supply your Ezproxy username and password to obtain this information. Once you have supplied the passphrase and joined the network, you will not need to do so again.

Wireless network access information can also be obtained from any library staff member. If you need assistance connecting your laptop, tablet or phone to the networks, please ask one of us for help.
